iControl Networks secures $23M in funding

Total venture and strategic capital funding at more than $45M after new investments from GE, ADT, Cisco and others


ATLANTA, July 23 - iControl Networks announced this week that it recently raised $23 million in Series C funding from multiple investors, bringing its total venture and strategic capital funding to over $45 million.

The company, whose home management solution allows homeowners to view and control their security and energy systems via the Internet or a mobile device, received significant investments from security industry giants including ADT Security Services, GE Security and Cisco.

In a prepared statement, iControl CEO Paul Dawes said that the investment from these and other companies will help them “accelerate the development and rapid deployment” of their technology.
