Systems integrator North American Video announced this week that it was recently chosen to implement a new hybrid video solution at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
According to a statement issued by NAV, the new hybrid solution will allow the center to utilize its existing security infrastructure while upgrading to newer technology. The 250,000-square-foot venue will have its existing PTZ cameras replaced by an integrated system using IP cameras and a head-end recording and software management solution.
NAV also said that it would utilize the facility’s existing fiber infrastructure to implement a complete security network with full camera control.
"We are excited about this opportunity to offer our experience and services to help NJPAC achieve their goal of improving the performance and reliability of the video surveillance system," said Jason Oakley, CEO of NAV. "The hybrid solution will help to reduce costs for the upgrade but still allow for future expansion and technology upgrades."
