Stanley CSS purchases Electronic Protection Network

Illinois-based Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (Stanley CSS) announced last week that it has acquired yet another Sonitrol franchise with its purchase of Electronic Protection Network in Savannah, Ga.

According to a statement, the sale includes mostly commercial accounts in the retail, restaurant, industrial, banking, and education markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"The acquisition of Electronic Protection Network, Inc. allows us to increase our presence in the Georgia market. We look forward to working with our new customers by upholding Stanley CSS’s commitment and dedication to superior customer service," said Tony Byerly, President Stanley CSS North America and United Kingdom Direct.

A provider of audio verified electronic security systems, the Sonitrol Corporation was purchased by Stanley CSS in 2008 for $275 million.
