Massachusetts couple attempts to steal 500 pounds of copper
Alleged thieves nabbed by police as they attempted to flee
Waltham, Massachusetts police have arrested a couple who they say attempted to steal more than 500 pounds of copper from a energy company facility last week.
According to a report published in the Waltham Daily News Tribune, the man and women were caught after an officer on patrol near the facility saw a pile of copper and heard people running through the woods. The suspects were later found hiding along the banks of the Charles River.
