Pixelplus Announces MagnaChip's Complete Withdrawal of Its Appeal on the Disputed Process Patents in Seoul High Court

SEOUL, South Korea , Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --Pixelplus Co., Ltd. (Nasdaq: PXPL), a fabless semiconductor company in Korea that designs, develops, and markets CMOS image sensors for various consumer electronics applications, today announced that MagnaChip Semiconductor ("MagnaChip") has completely withdrawn its appeal on the disputed process patents in Seoul High Court. Given this favorable development, the previous lower court decision by the Seoul Central District Court that Pixelplus did not infringe any of the disputed process patents asserted by MagnaChip has become final and conclusive, and MagnaChip's patent infringement claims on the process patents will no longer be contested or remain at issue.
