Myrtle Beach International Airport deploys IP video, access control systems

Myrtle Beach International Airport in South Carolina recently became one the first airports in the southeastern U.S. to deploy an all digital security systems as it has installed IP video and access control management systems from AMAG Technology and OnSSI.

According to a statement, the airport recently integrated AMAG Technology’s Symmetry enterprise security management system and intelligent field hardware with OnSSI’s NetDVMS video management system.

The integration between the two companies’ technologies makes the airport’s security system easily scalable, as it currently supports more than 80 IP cameras.

"The integration between AMAG’s Symmetry and OnSSI’s NetDVMS provides the security staff additional functionality ensuring a more secure airport," said AMAG Technology Vice President of North American Sales Mike Taylor. "It’s easy to use and offers the airport flexibility with the choice of cameras and the ability to easily manage video within the integrated security management system."
