NRF announces keynote speakers for loss prevention conference

The National Retail Federation announced this week that GameStop CEO J. Paul Raines and Albuquerque, N.M. Chief of Police Ray Shultz will be the keynote speakers at its 2011 Loss Prevention Conference in Dallas, Texas.

In addition, NRF also announced that it has invited Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to kick off the conference.

According to a statement issued by the federation, Raines and Shultz will open the conference on June 13.

"Retail loss prevention issues spread far beyond the store or the parking lot," said Joe LaRocca, Senior Asset Protection Advisor at NRF. "We are extremely honored to have such high-profile guests join our event this year, adding credibility and weight to the problem of organized and other types of retail crime and homeland security risks that exist throughout the country."
