South Western Communications acquires Richardson Technology Systems

Georgia-based integrator Richardson Technology Systems Inc. announced Thursday that it has been purchased by South Western Communications, an Indiana-based provider of electronic and communication solutions to the healthcare, education, commercial/industrial and detention markets.

According to a statement issued by the companies regarding the acquisition, Richardson TSI will maintain its offices in Georgia and will actually expand its resources and services to healthcare and education facilities throughout the state.

“Richardson TSI and SWC have worked and grown together over the past 20 years as neighboring Rauland distributors,” Richardson TSI President Joseph Ciotti said in the statement. “We are pleased to announce that SWC has purchased Richardson TSI, allowing us to continue to grow and provide superior service and advanced technology solutions to both our healthcare and education clients.”
