Greenville, S.C. to add surveillance camera to existing system

Police say cameras have been a valuable crime fighting tool


According to a story published this week by wspa.com, county council members in Greenville, S.C., have decided to use $10,000 in seized assets to purchase a new surveillance camera to add to their existing video system.

Police say the city’s surveillance cameras have been helpful in fighting crime. The new camera, which will be placed in a courtyard next to Greenville City Hall and a hotel, is expected to be installed within the next few weeks.
