The International Association of Chiefs of Police was founded in 1893 with 5 key goals. To advance the art and science of police services, to develop best practices, to foster police collaboration, to support recruiting efforts, and to encourage high professional standards of performance. "The nation's law enforcement first responders are being challenged in ways never imagined -- so now is not the time for small plans. The country needs a serious product for a serious mission," remarked William Santana Li , Chairman and CEO, Carbon Motors Corporation. A new era in homeland security and law enforcement technology begins today as Carbon Motors showcases the world's first purpose-built law enforcement patrol vehicle -- an innovative new product that embodies all of which the IACP has stood for the last 115 years.

"This is now a defining moment for law enforcement. I ask you to stand with us and unite for a common cause. Demand that our First Responders be treated with the respect and dignity they have earned and deserve, and that they be given the proper tools to protect and secure our homeland. I am calling on every mayor, every city council member, every city manager, every sheriff, every chief, every governor, the US Department of Justice and the US Department of Homeland Security to unite in this effort. We have a national moral obligation to our first responders and we will not rest until this deed is done. Rest assured, a new dawn of American leadership is at hand," said Li.

Joining the Carbon Motors executives at the 'E7' introduction to the IACP Conference in San Diego will be past IACP president and former Clinton cabinet member Drug Czar, Dr. Lee P. Brown . Dr. Brown serves on the Carbon Motors Advisory Board, alongside Governor Thomas J. Ridge , former Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Congressman Lee H. Hamilton , former vice-chair of the 9/11 commission.
