IntelliCheck Mobilisa will be presenting "Technology to Improve Maritime and Port Security" at the Maritime Law Enforcement & Security Conference in San Diego on November 12.
Dr. Nelson Ludlow, Intellicheck Mobilisa's CEO and former professor of Computer Science at the Naval Postgraduate School, will present Intellicheck Mobilisa's research and development of wirelessly networked buoys and how the system can best be used to protect ports, borders, and the environment. The buoys are designed to autonomously detect threats and enhance port situational awareness. From terrorist security risks to environmental accidents, such as oil spills, this technology provides live video and data feeds to organizations responsible for maritime and port security.
Dr. Ludlow will also discuss the use of identity systems such as the IM2500 Defense ID system, currently in use at dozens of secure government facilities, and the new IM2700, the most advanced Transportation Worker Identity Credential (TWIC) reader used to protect sea ports.
