SPARTA, Tenn. --
A woman took a bomb into a bank without realizing what it was, causing an evacuation.
Police in Sparta said the woman found a pipe bomb at home but didn't know what it was. She took it with her to work Monday at the U.S. Bank building on Highway 111 to show to a police officer.
Officers evacuated the building when they saw the device. The bomb squad set it off, and no one was hurt.
