The Brink’s Company, a provider of secure transport services, announced this week that it has acquired a “major stake” in ICD Limited, a commercial security and systems integration company in the Asia-Pacific Region.
ICD Limited, whose principle operations are within China, also has offices in Hong Kong, India, Singapore and Australia. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
According to Brink’s President and CEO Michael T. Dan, the acquisition of ICD Limited gives the company an entry point into the fast growing commercial security market in Asia.
"The Brink's brand is an international symbol of trust and security, and penetrating new security-related markets is an important element of our long-term growth strategy,” he said.
