ADS Security purchases accounts of Savannah's Alarm Center

March 22, 2010 -- Nashville-based ADS Security has purchased the accounts of Alarm Center Security Systems in Savannah, Ga. The acquisition of Alarm Center's accounts brings recurring monthly revenue (RMR) for the ADS-Savannah branch to over $1 million. The purchase means Alarm Center's accounts will be handled by ADS Security for monitoring and all customer service. A statement from ADS noted that the former Alarm Center customers will now be able to use the ADS Security website, which offers online bill pay.

"We are excited to be able to service Alarm Center customers and look forward to showing them the ADS Advantage," says Joe Antinoro, general manager of ADS-Savannah. ADS representatives noted that customers of Alarm Center are being notified of the purchase.

ADS dates back to 1989 and company says it is currently serving over 70,000 businesses and homes in the U.S. southeast. The company provides burglar and fire alarm systems, service and monitoring, and has also offered electronic access control and video surveillance product lines.
