SimplexGrinnell to host school symposium

Day-long event to help school administrators with safety, preparedness issues


SimplexGrinnell announced Tuesday that it will be hosting a day-long symposium at Bryant University on Sept. 2, to help school administrators deal address a wide range of safety issues, ranging from campus violence to pandemic flu.

The event, which is designed for senior school officials in the New England, New York and New Jersey areas, will feature presentations from a variety of security experts.

Among those scheduled to speak include James W. Satterfield, president/COO of Firestorm Solutions, and R. David Paulison, former administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
