Vicon awarded contract by Tennessee Department of Corrections

CCTV and access control solutions provider Vicon announced earlier this month that it has been chosen for the third consecutive year by the Tennessee Department of Corrections to provide upgrades and additions to its surveillance and security systems.
Among the solutions deployed by the TDOC include ViconNet  video management software, Kollector network DVRs, as well as Vicon IP cameras.
The state’s prison system, which currently houses more than 20,000 inmates, will be installing its first megapixel cameras later this year, according to a statement issued by the company.
