Diamondback Tactical Announces New Funding and the Addition of Lt. Gen. Gregory Newbold (Ret) to Board of Directors

PHOENIX , Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Diamondback Tactical, a leading manufacturer of body armor and nylon product for the military and law enforcement markets, is pleased to announce it raised additional equity in the fourth quarter of 2008 from investors and management. The funds provide Diamondback with the resources for continued expansion in the federal and local law enforcement, military and international markets. "Diamondback made significant progress in penetrating these target markets in 2008 by focusing our efforts on providing solutions to our customers in a cost effective and responsive manner," said CEO Jack Springer .

The Company is pleased to announce that Lt. Gen. Gregory Newbold , (Ret) USMC has been appointed to the Board of Directors. General Newbold is a widely respected former senior military officer with broad experience in military matters, homeland security, anti-terrorism, and force protection. Upon retiring from the Marine Corps, he was the Director of Operations for the Joint Chiefs of Staff (J-3) where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the 1.3 million members of the active armed services. Previously, he was Commanding General of the 1st Marine Division. He is a partner with Torch Hill Investment Partners in Washington, DC .

It was also announced that Jason Beck is no longer involved with the Company.
