Like its sister VHF product, the KNG P150 introduced earlier this year, the KNG P400 is designed with the demanding needs of professional applications in mind, providing customers with compact, lightweight radios that are feature-rich and offer class-A performance specifications.
In addition to its performance, the KNG P400 is the smallest professional-grade 5-watt UHF portable digital radio in the market. Its FCC (Federal Communication Commission) certified power rating of 5.7 watts is the best in the industry and provides power to extend the radio's reach with superior signal strength. More efficient power consumption gives the KNG P400 an uninterrupted duty cycle of up to 18 hours -- significantly longer than similarly featured models from other manufacturers. The entire KNG series will be upgradeable to P25 Trunking.
