The Security Executive Council recently announced that it would be launching Security Executive Council Live, an online presentation series that gives security practitioners access to webinars presented by experts that discuss a wide variety of issues facing the security industry.
The first SEC Live event, "The Impact of Economic Recession on Security Program Management: Recognizing and Managing the Shift in Business and Risk Assumptions," is scheduled to be held at noon on Feb. 17.
"We are doing this to make (security practitioners) more successful. We want to be the resource that was not available to us when we needed it," former Teradyne CSO and SEC Faculty Member Joe Nelson said in a prepared statement.
