CCTV solutions manufacturer Pelco announced this week that it is making several internal operations changes as part of its focus on innovation, quality and service.
Among the changes include the appointment of Greg Millar to the new position of Chief Technology Officer; consolidating the company's engineering department under the supervision of one person, new Vice President of Engineering and Product Development Ben Kimbell; the appointment of Joel Larner as vice president of program management; and, placing the product support department in a new position within the organization and under the leadership of Vice President of Product Support Joanne Weber-Fosnight.
In addition, Pelco also announced the retirement of Senior Vice President Jim Brannan, who has been with the company for the past seven years. As a result, Pelco's marketing department will now be consolidated with sales under Cliff Holtz, senior vice president of America sales and global marketing.
"With our technical support department now focused exclusively on customer issues, and with quality assurance now embedded within operations, our team will be even more focused on customer support on a global basis and be able to very proactively address any product quality concerns ," said Pelco President and CEO Dean Meyer.
