PUEBLO, Colo. --

Two suspects are in custody following an armored car robbery in Pueblo Friday morning.

Police said two men hit the Brinks armored car in the Safeway parking lot, 617 W. 29th St., just after 9 a.m.

The two suspects pepper-sprayed a Brinks security officer to gain access to the armored car, according to police.

The men were arrested in separate locations a short time later. One was arrested outside a Rent-A-Center store and the other was arrested at a golf course.

Police were still gathering details at mid-morning.
