The newly built Casino Theatre Barriere de Toulouse in France recently decided to implement an IP surveillance system from IndigoVision at its 14,000-square foot facility.
The system, which includes 350 cameras that record onto 28 standalone NVRs, covers the casino’s 1,200 seat theater, three restaurants, three bars, 14 gaming tables and nearly 250 slot machines, according to a statement issued by the company. The system is run using IndigoVision’s Control Center video management software, which allows security personnel to quickly manage alarms and search and analyze recorded video.
“We commissioned a trial of competing IP Video vendors led by an independent consultant,” said Steve Dupoizat, the casino’s director of security “IndigoVision was chosen because of its superior compression technology, excellent video quality and the ease of use of their video management software for both the operators and supervisors.”
