Honeywell Life Safety opens new training center

Fire alarm and gas detection solutions manufacturer Honeywell announced this week that its Life Safety division has opened a new training center at the company’s facility in Lincolnshire, Ill.

According to a statement issued by the company, the new training center, which joins Honeywell Life Safety training sites in Atlanta and at its headquarters in Northford, Conn., provides dealers with instruction as it relates to Notifier, Gamewell-FCI and Honeywell Analytics products.

The training center is located about 30 minutes form Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, which should make it a convenient location for distributors to come and receive training on the company’s products.

"We worked to create a training experience that's as close to reality as possible. All of the classroom equipment is top-notch, just as you would see installed in the field," said Mark Levy, Honeywell Life Safety's CEO. "In the future, we hope to have more facilities similar to Lincolnshire, making it more accessible for our customers to remain technically advanced."
