INDUS Partners With IDL and Pragmatics for FDA IT Services Contract

VIENNA, Va. , Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- INDUS Corporation (INDUS), a leading Federal Information Technology (IT) solutions provider, announced today that it is working as a subcontractor to IDL-Pragmatics Innovation Partners JV (IDL-Pragmatics JV), a joint venture of IDL Solutions, Inc. and Pragmatics, Inc., under the Information and Computing Technologies for the 21st Century (ICT-21) contract awarded to the venture by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) component of the Department of Health and Human Services. The contract has an estimated value of $2.5 billion.

The FDA developed the ICT-21 program to acquire IT services and solutions to support a diverse set of FDA initiatives, including enhanced product development and approval, improved manufacturing and product quality, strengthened post-approval surveillance and safety, and achievement of benchmarks in electronic prescribing and clinical decision-making. The IDL-Pragmatics JV will compete against other ICT-21 contract holders for the award of task orders under the contract.
