IdentiSys acquires Inland Business Products

Acquisition part of company’s growth strategy to expand its local sales and service coverage


Secure identification and access control solutions provider IdentiSys announced Monday that is has acquired Inland Business Products, a Spokane Valley, Washington-based provider of photo identification, mailing, barcode technology and card issuance systems.

According to a statement, Inland provides solutions to the healthcare, education, corporate, and local and state government markets in Washington and Idaho.

"This is our second identification dealer acquisition in six months, seventh overall, and continues our goal to expand our local sales and service coverage in the U.S.," said Michael R. Shields, founder and CEO of IdentiSys. "Our growth strategy targeted expansion into the West. With the addition of Inland Business Products, we now offer sales and on-site services throughout the U.S., including five Midwestern states, Florida, Hawaii, Kentucky, Ohio, and Texas."

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
