CSST to buy two Chinese security firms

Company acquires security systems maintenance firm and a monitoring and patrol firm


China Security & Surveillance Technology (CSST) announced that it plans to acquire Shanghai Forever Security Co. (SFSC) and Beijing Emergency Security Service Center for Maintenance and Repair (BESC). The purchase prices are approximately $2.5 million and $.4 million respectively.

Shanghai Forever Security Co. is a 14-year-old company offering an alarm monitoring and call center as well as full guard and patrol services. The company also designs and installs security systems, and had roughly 2,500 subscribers at the end of 2008.

Beijing Emergency Security Service Center provide emergency security system maintenance services. BESC has primarily been focused on servicing the systems at government institutions, public security bureaus, hospitals, schools and logistics companies.
