Leviton relocates headquarters

New eco-friendly facility to serve as a ‘showcase’ for company’s products

Leviton, a manufacturer of electrical and electronic wiring devices, announced Tuesday that it has relocated its headquarters to a new, eco-friendly 140,000 square foot facility on New York’s Long Island.

According to a statement issue by the company, the state-of-art office building took 18 months to complete and will serve as a “showcase” for its installed products.

In addition, the new complex is a candidate for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification with 90 percent of the building’s office equipment, appliances and fixtures being Energy-Star qualified.
