Former Pakistan president, ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ pilot to address conference

ASIS International announced this week that former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf and “Miracle on the Hudson” pilot Chesley Sullenberger will deliver keynote speeches at ASIS 2010, which is scheduled to be held in Dallas, Texas in October.

Serving as president of Pakistan from 2001 to 2008, Musharraf played a critical role in the global war on terror, helping the U.S. hunt down al Qaeda operatives and aiding in the search for Osama Bin Laden. He is schedule to address attendees on Thursday, Oct. 14 at 8 a.m.

Sullenberger garnered worldwide attention in January of 2009 when he safely landed US Airways Flight 1549 in New York’s Hudson River after the plane experienced an engine failure. He will speak at the conference on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 8 a.m.
