TSA workers find loaded gun in man's luggage at Orlando airport

54-year-old later released on bond

ORLANDO, Fla. --

A man was arrested on Friday for having a loaded at the Orlando International Airport.

Transportation Security Administration workers said they found a handgun in 54-year-old Richard Mark Gardner's carry-on luggage.

They said the pistol was loaded when they caught it at a security checkpoint.

Gardner was released on bond. It's not known why he had the weapon in his luggage.
