CCTV solutions manufacturer Pelco announced last week that it will be hosting a series of technical committee meetings of the Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) later this month at its Clovis, Calif. location.
According to a statement, the company said that is committed to developing integrated security solutions and is a contributing member of the IP standards group.
"We recognize that the establishment and adoption of open standards is vital to the success and growth of the IP physical security industry," said Dave deLisser, director of integration for Pelco. "That’s why we are actively participating in the efforts of ONVIF and other standards bodies. Emerging standards are a key part of our comprehensive embrace of open and integrated systems, along with our Partner First program, in which we are developing solutions with more than 250 integration partners."
