Boston mayor wants to block Yemen tankers

According to a story published last week by the Boston Globe, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino is reportedly looking into whether or not the city can block tankers carrying liquefied natural gas from entering the city’s harbor.

Menino said that such measures are warranted to protect the public in light of the recent attempt by an accused terrorist, who trained in Yemen, to blow up a U.S. airliner in Detroit.
