Intelligent video solutions manufacturer ioimage announced this week that it has opened a new office in Beijing, China, to provide support to its partners and customers in what has become one of the largest growing surveillance markets in the world.
According to a recent report published by UK-based IMS research, the market for video surveillance equipment in China is expected to reach over $3 billion by 2012. In a prepared statement, Maoz Tenenbaum, ioimage Senior Sales Director for the Asian Pacific market said that opening an office in the region will enable the company to take advantage of the emerging market.
“The Chinese security market and the video analytics sector in particular are experiencing raping growth,” he said. “By establishing an office in Beijing, ioimage can leverage this enormous potential while providing the best and closest possible support to our existing partners and customers.”
