Emil D'Angelo re-elected president of ISACA

IT security association also elects board members at conference

The Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) announced this week that Emil D'Angelo, senior vice president for Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ, N.J., was re-elected as its international president.

"It is a privilege to continue serving as international president at such an exciting time in the association's history," said D'Angelo in a statement. "ISACA offers more resources than ever, from free white papers on compelling business IT issues, to virtual conferences, a new risk certification and a social networking forum on the association's redesigned web site, and we will continue to provide maximum value."

Seven other board members were also elected at ISACA's International Conference. Those re-elected as vice presidents include Ria Lucas, Jose Angel Pena Ibarra, Robert Stroud, Kenneth L. Vander Wal, and Rolf von Roessing. Newly elected vice presidents include Christos Dimitriadis and Hitoshi Ota.

Three directors including Greg Grocholski, Tony Hayes and Howard Nicholson were also reappointed to ISACA's board. Jeff Spivey was appointed trustee for ITGI.
