Salt Lake City airport to get $4M for CCTV

DHS using stimulus funds to upgrade airport security across the nation


According to a report published this week by the Deseret News, the Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah will receive $4M from the Department of Homeland Security to expand its surveillance system.

The $4 million is part of $78 million in stimulus funds that DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano said earlier this week had been allocated by the agency for airport security technology.
