ISC Solutions adds large security manufacturers to its roster

Nearly 80 percent of the show floor is taken, educational content partners added

(NORWALK, CT May 20) - - - Big security manufacturers have signed up to participate in ISC Solutions, the reinvented event replacing the former ISC East, Nov. 3-4, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York, where nearly 80 percent of the show floor has been filled with over 275 companies. ISC Solutions made its debut at the recent ISC West 2010 in Las Vegas.

Companies such as 3VR, Altronix, ASSA ABLOY, ADI, ADT, Axis Communications, Bosch, Canon, CMS, Door King, FLIR Systems, GE Security, Hirsch Electronics, Honeywell, Ingersoll Rand, NAPCO, Northern Video, OnSSI, Panasonic, Samsung, Speco Technologies, Smith & Wesson, Tyco are among the exhibitors who are currently signed up.

"We're pleased that ISC Solutions is getting early and big name participation," said Ed Nichols, Vice President of the ISC Events. "We continue to develop the educational content and information for ISC Solutions and are eager to present a completely transformed event for the industry in November."

This year, ISC Solutions will focus education content on the following sectors: Healthcare; Education/Campus and Government and have partnered with these organizations to build educational content and marketing support. These include: International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety; GSN: Government Security News; Homeland Security Newswire; Homeland Security Outlook; Campus Safety Magazine, SIA's Government Relations team, and PSA Security Network for integrator education.

"As a fourth quarter sales & marketing opportunity for manufacturers, the new ISC Solutions offers an applications-based platform to present security products and technologies in growth and emerging sectors," said Nichols. "It creates targeted opportunities for manufacturers to present solutions and applications to end-user customers in a way that they've not been able to before in New York."

The exhibitions and show floor will be segmented by technology/applications and ISC Solutions will introduce a 'solutions hub' in the middle of the show floor. The new floor plan offers organized information and solutions-sourcing and will enable security professionals to learn how their security challenges can be solved from the manufacturers who have the products and technologies.

The solutions hub will act as a resource center for security professionals that incorporate speaking theaters, appointment meeting space and representation from the vertical segments associations and stakeholders.

"It was critical that we repositioned the East event to ISC Solutions in order to ensure that we are relevant to the needs of the security industry," said Nichols. "As needs change and security challenges and threats become more complex, a solutions-focused event that presents a wide array of options is even more valuable and necessary."

In recent news, ISC Solutions has announced a co-location with 1105 Media's Contingency Planning & Management EAST (CPM). CPM EAST offers comprehensive risk management education for business continuity, security, and emergency management professionals. By moving the annual CPM east coast event from Orlando to New York, CPM can offer accessible training to metropolitan New York security and risk management professionals - those security end-users who have the greatest need for this type of training. The collocation offers enhanced value to security products manufacturers by attracting a new security professional audience. For the traditional CPM attendee, there will be additional opportunities for training, education and a preview to the latest security product applications for personal and professional enhancement at ISC Solutions.
