Having served as chief operating officer of Stanley Convergent Security Solutions (CSS) in the United States, Tony Byerly has been named president of Stanley CSS for all of North America.
The announcement comes as Stanley CSS combines two formerly unique divisions in the United States and Canada into a single North American operation. As such, the group will be led by Byerly, whose experience includes time spent at ADT/Tyco, Honeywell Security Monitoring (HSM), SBC Global Communications. Byerly was serving as vice president of sales, marketing and national accounts at HSM when it was acquired by Stanley.
"We believe this new alignment led by Tony Byerly, will help us create world-class service offerings in the North American markets we serve through the shared knowledge and best practices that come from the combination of both divisions," said Stanley CSS president (worldwide) Brett Bontrager. "We are excited about this strategic alignment as it will benefit and support the needs of our customers and associates in our North American market."
Stanley CSS is a division of The Stanley Works. The CSS division provides monitoring, installation, service and integration for the electronic security market, and is headquartered in Naperville, Ill.
