Loss Prevention Foundation names new academic committee members

New committee members to develop higher education strategies for non-profit


The Loss Prevention Foundation announced this week that it has named four new members to its academic committee.

Those named to the committee include:

• Marcus Felson, Ph.D., Rutgers Universtiy
• Brian R. Johnson, Ph.D., Grand Valley State University
• Christopher A. Walker, Ph.D., Northeastern University
• Patrick D. Walsh, Ph.D., Loyola University

The academic committee’s role is to act as academic advisors to the non-profit by developing strategies on how the organization can complement higher education, reviewing certification coursework content and advising LPF staff on marketing and outreach plans for both two and four year college students, according to a statement issued by the organization.
