WASHINGTON , Oct. 2 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Securing America's Future Energy (SAFE) announced today that PBS stations across the country will begin airing an hour-long documentary featuring SAFE's signature Oil ShockWave crisis simulation. Narrated by Judy Woodruff , the program brings the best minds in energy, economics, intelligence, politics, foreign relations, and the military together to explore the critical effects of America's oil dependence on our national security and economy.
"Since 2005, SAFE's Oil ShockWave simulation has been educating the public, the media, and policymakers about the dangers posed by America's oil dependence," SAFE President and CEO Robbie Diamond said. "Now, as this documentary premieres, a nationwide audience will learn the hard truths behind our energy challenges: our economy and our national security are in danger, and if a true oil shock occurs, our ability to respond is extremely limited.
