FORT WORTH, Texas , October 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Elbit Systems of America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT), announces the addition of a key executive to its executive team. BGen (USA Ret) James Moran has joined the company in its Washington DC office as the Vice President for Army Solutions. In this role, BGen Moran will be responsible for leading campaigns aimed at providing mission critical solutions for key Elbit Systems of America customers.

BGen Moran joined Elbit Systems of America following successful positions with Ideal Innovations, Inc. and Northrop Grumman, and a distinguished career with the U.S. Army, with his last position as the Program Executive Officer for Soldier Systems at Fort Belvoir, Virginia .
