Alarm system owners in Oxford, Ohio, will need to be aware of new requirements. The Oxford Press newspaper reported today that a new code passed by the city council requires alarm systems to be registered with the city.
Registration must be completed before Aug. 31, and costs $20 for residential systems, and $25 for commercial systems. Dealers and monitoring companies serving this town can alert their customers that the registration forms are available from www.cityofoxford.org (go to the police portion of the website to find the forms).
