Raytheon Awarded U.S. Air Force Sustainment Contract

RESTON, Va. , Aug. 6, 2008 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) LLC, a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has received a seven-year, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide sustainment support for all U.S. Air Force-operated weapon systems, support systems, subsystems, components, and related services. This multiple contractor award has an estimated ceiling value of $6.9 billion.

The Future Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (F2AST) IDIQ contract is a re-compete of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) Flexible Acquisition and Sustainment Tool (FAST) and the U.S. Air Force Integrated Weapon System Support Program. The contract began July 23 and will end July 22, 2011 , and could be extended up to four years to July 22, 2015 . WR-ALC is located at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Ga.
