Nov. 2007 - VisualGate Systems, a manufacturer of video over powerline solutions, will be on the shelves of security products distributor Tri-Ed.
The company's powerline technologies can transmit the video, audio and control data over standard AC wiring within a building, allowing up to 16 cameras to be managed without having to home-run cabling.
The technology finds especially strong fits when temporary surveillance is needed, or if an existing building's construction or architectural specifications don't allow cable pulls. The company has two primary kits, with the PL-VUE marketed at commercial and government installations, and the VueKIT designed for residential or small business operations.
