Subcommittee working on draft for audio verification technology operations

In its newsletter this week, the Central Station Alarm Association called out for input on audio verification operations.

The organization's Audio Verification Operational Standards Subcommittee reports that it is working on a draft operational standard on how central stations should handle audio verification technologies.

The subcommittee has already published a draft regarding audio verification technology operations, which is available for download from the CSAA as a PDF document. Peter Giacalone is heading the group and said the draft standards "needs additional details."

Central station monitoring firms involved in audio verification can get in touch with Giacalone via email to share input regarding audio verification and help further this draft standard.
