Indra Sistems Wins Airport Security Contracts for Beijing Olympics

Indra to provide air traffic control and security systems, worth 15M Eur

MADRID (Thomson Financial) - Indra Sistemas SA said it has won two airport security contracts worth 8.7 mln eur in China for the Beijing 2008 Olympic games.

In a statement, Indra said the contracts are for the air traffic control and security systems in Beijing international airport, and to modernize systems at the Urumchi international airport, in the Xin Jiang region.

On Monday, Cinco Dias reported that the two contracts were worth 15 mln eur.
