Data management software overhaul to increase systems’ speed, reliability

COPS monitoring announced Tuesday that it has completed an upgrade of its data management software, which the company said will provide for greater system reliability and speed of reporting and data retrieval.

The upgrade also integrated COPS’ database with their COP-A-Link online customer and dealer access portal, which was "crucial," according to a press release issued by the company.

The new D3 Database Management software, which cost the monitoring company nearly $250,000 to implement, is integrated and customizable with COPS’ central station management software.

COPS Monitoring President James McMullen said in a prepared statement the upgrade would help them meet their service goals and indicated that they’re already seeing better response times.
