Amano, a provider of parking lot controls that includes security and access control solutions, has agreed to purchase Terry McGann & Associates, a distributor of parking management systems. The acquisition will be completed next month.
Both companies provide a variety of parking lot control and security devices, from pay stations, to gate controls, proximity card reader systems, license plate reader systems and more.
The acquisition follows a long-standing partnership between the two companies which dates back to 1982; Amano's Cincinnati operations had been working with McGann since that time.
Terry McGann and Mike Lee will remain with the merged company, taking positions as president (McGann) and chairman (Lee). The merged firm will be known as Amano McGann.
