Training, tech support and applications group combined for Bosch's security division

Bosch Security Systems announced today that it was reworking its customer support team.

The company described the redesigned customer support as "part of a restructuring initiative." The new organization model will put Bosch's Customer Support Solutions Team at the lead for the combined training, tech support and applications groups. According to a statement from Bosch, "The new team, which pools the resources and talents of the three previously independent disciplines, will work closely together across departmental lines, sharing information and providing phase-by-phase support to Bosch's dealer and integrator customers."

As part of the roll-out of the new customer service program, Bosch Field Application Specialists will be teaching training courses on Bosch Security product lines. The courses will be held in Fairport, N.Y., Indianapolis, Lancaster, Penn., and San Jose, Calif.

Leon Chlimper, vice president of systems for Bosch will be assuming responsibility for the combined support group. Jim Musshafen will be the director of technical support and field applications/training for the new team.
