CDV buys Centaur line from Canadian manufacturer Paradox Security Systems

Montreal — CDV Americas is pleased to announce the purchase of Centaur, a complete line of access control products with a broad range of software designed for large commercial, industrial and governmental applications. Centaur was formerly owned by Paradox Security Systems, a well known Canadian manufacturer located near Montreal.

“We were looking to add a reliable product line complying to American standards and needs to our existing products and feel confident that Centaur access control is the best choice,” said RenĂ© Mallandain, CDV Americas’ president. “We will continue to support Centaur’s existing clientele and look forward to extending the line with new innovative products.”

Centaur’s multi-controller support, expansion modules, scaleable software and add-on software and hardware provide users with the tools required to conquer any access control challenge.
