Company extends regular tech support hours, adds on-call staff for round-the-clock needs

Toshiba dealer support won't stop at 5 p.m. The company announced Thursday that its authorized dealers would be getting seven-days-a-week, 24-hours-a-day technical support. Regular hours support has also been extended.

The new tech support extends the regular hours support by patching calls through to on-call staff. Regular hours support was extended to 4 a.m. PST to 6 p.m. PST Monday through Friday.

Toshiba Surveillance and IP Products Group national service operations manager Ralph Abramo said the move reflected the company's commitment to making customer satisfaction the company's top priority.
