SIA's third annual Ride for Education takes place on Saturday after ISC West

Get your motor runnin', head out on the highway, looking for adventure, or whatever comes my way. That's the spirit at the Third Annual SIA Ride for Education that's scheduled for April 8, the Saturday following ISC West.

SIA members will be able to rent Harley-Davidson motorcycles, tack on a $35 entry fee to cover cost of lunch and dinner (with some raffled Harley items as part of the day's fun), and all proceeds from the ride will benefit the organization's Education Scholarship Fund.

The plan, like last year, is to take a guided tour of the scenery around Las Vegas, enjoy a catered lunch during the ride, and dinner afterwards at the Las Vegas Harley Davidson Café, meet a few old friends and make some new ones. SIA has promised a 2006 SIA Ride for Education T-shirt to each of the first 50 registrants.

If you're interested, grab your goggles and your leathers and email SIA manager of educational program and services Holly Wells at [email protected], or call her at (703) 647-8495.
